VOCare Privacy Policy

VOCAreps operates the VOCare mobile application ("VOCare", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we process information to provide vocabulary learning, tests, wrong-answer notes, review reminders, study planning, account features, backup, and sync.

1. Information We Process

Account information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we may process the email address, account identifier, sign-in provider information, and session information needed to keep you signed in and connect your data to your account.

Learning data

We process learning data you create or manage in the App, including vocabulary collection folder and file names, folder locations, colors, country or language settings, word cards, meanings, notes, parts of speech, examples, example meanings, questions, choices, answers, explanations, memorized state, review schedules, test results, wrong-answer notes, planner items, app settings, and related study records.

Wrong-answer photos and camera access

The App may ask for camera or photo library access so you can take or import problem photos for wrong-answer notes. Photos are used to provide the wrong-answer note feature, including cropping, adjustment, local file storage, and user-created backup files when applicable. If a future version uploads these photos to a server, this Privacy Policy and store data disclosures must be updated before release.

Notifications

The App may use notification permission to schedule local review reminders and study reminders. This policy does not describe push token collection unless a future release adds that feature.

Device and sync information

The App may generate internal device or client identifiers to support backup, sync, conflict handling, and account data protection across supported devices.

Credits, rewards, and purchase-related records

The App may process credit balance, attendance rewards, test-time recharge records, store item records, purchase preparation records, and purchase verification records where needed for app features, fraud prevention, accounting, or support.

Ads, if enabled

If rewarded ads are enabled in a release build, Google Mobile Ads may process device, advertising, interaction, and diagnostic data needed for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. Store privacy and data safety answers must match the actual release configuration.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We may share or process information with service providers only as needed to provide the App, operate accounts, distribute the App, handle purchases or refunds where applicable, protect the service, comply with law, or respond to user requests.

5. Security

We use encrypted network connections where appropriate, including HTTPS for server communication. We also apply access rules so account data is intended to be available only to the signed-in user who owns it.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep access limited to what is needed to operate the App.

6. Retention and Deletion

We keep account and learning data while your account is active or as needed to provide the App.

You can request account deletion in the App:

If you cannot use the App, you can request deletion by email: contact@vocareps.com.

When account deletion is completed, account data is deleted or hidden. Minimal records needed for legal, security, anti-abuse, purchase verification, or support reasons may remain for up to 90 days and are then deleted.

Data stored only on your device may be removed by deleting the App or clearing the device storage for the App.

7. Children

VOCare is not submitted as a children-only app. If store settings or the target audience changes, this Privacy Policy and store disclosures must be reviewed before release.

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, data processing, service providers, ads, purchases, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
